| Monday we worked on our color words and started our St. Patty's week off by making a finger painted rainbow. The rainbow they were given had different lines that had a color word on each. The students had to read the word and use their finger to make dots on that line of the correct color. This created the rainbow with the pot of gold at the end. As well they made their last letter project of their 4K year - Z is for Zebra! |
Tuesday we went to mass downstairs and our 4K friends did a great job!! In art class they made some lambs of God. They did a great job water coloring their lambs first and putting their different parts on! Mrs. Zellner said that they did a fantastic job listening to directions and getting their projects completed timely! :) |
| Thursday we made traditional Irish claddagh rings on paper. We did them step by step to test the kiddos listening skills. We did one step and then they had to put their finger on their nose. Then another step and had to put hands on their shoulders, etc. Great job friends! :) They turned out very nice! Claddagh rings have three things on them: a heart, two hands and a crown. The heart represents love, the two hands represent friendship and the crown represents loyalty! |
Friday we had our experiment day. We did our milk experiment today. We took whole milk on a plate and dots of food coloring. Then we took liquid dish soap and Q-tips. We dipped the Q-tips into the liquid soap and you stick it straight into the milk and life out to let trip onto the color and see them split! AWESOME! Then we made some leprechaun krispies down in the cafeteria and sang to Mrs. Treml and Mrs. Babler as they made our lunch. After naptime the kiddos got to take a piece of the Leprechaun Krispies home! :) Happy Spring Break! | |
