Monday we started work on our families Christmas gifts. Our families and friends light up our lives just being in them so we desinged our own candles. Each student got to use sharpies do create a design of their choise and then I blow dryed them onto the candles. These will be sent home on Thursday in a blue, green or pink gift bag in your students backpack. As well we worked on our letter Oo project! Great job following directions and putting together your owls! :)

Tuesday we made desinged our own Christmas trees if we could have them the way we wanted them. And of course we had to add some sparkle with some glitter. This morning during play time the kiddos helped me make some reindeer food or reindeer "dust" that they can sprinkle in their yard so that Santa can see where they are to drop off their gifts. They are very excited to take this home and spread it all over the yard! They are DETERMINED! :) During nap today we had two of our talented 6th graders come and play some beautiful Christmas music. Thank you ladies, you are very talented!
We also decided to do our "mini" gingerbread houses or tepees as I call them! THANK YOU MRS. JOHNSON for putting these together for us while we were at gym! Then the kiddos got to decorate them today! They will be eating them tomorrow during our movie. It took all of their will power not to eat the candy and houses today but they did it! :)
After lunch we came back into our class and finished our movie. The kiddos have a lot of snacks that are coming home today in a zip lock bag. They had some of their treats but a lot have been sent home so they don't get stomach aches. Thank you so much to all that sent some treats and things for the class! As well thank you from Mrs. Johnson and myself for the gifts we have received from students and their families. You are so sweet, we get a gift each day working with your kiddos each day.
