Here in 4K we try to find the best in everyone and try to not focus on the negatives of someone or something, we are problem solvers and positive friends! This bible verse really fits --
Anyone can find the dirt in someone. Be the one that finds the gold. Proverbs 11:27

| On Monday we made some Irish flags and talked about the country of Ireland, they thought the accents were really silly. We talked about the Blarney stone and I am still trying to find the picture of me kissing the stone in Ireland three years ago. |
Tuesday we created pot of gold decorations for our hallway and our windows.
| Wednesday was a busy day! We created fingerprint rainbows with a pot of gold at the end. The students had to read the color word on the line of the rainbow and use that color paint to create that part. Then we had some new friends come into 4K for a couple of hours. We had friends that will be in 3K or 4K next year come in and visit to see what it is going to be like next year. We had a blast getting to know them. We made leprechaun binoculars so that we were able to find the clues! Then we went on a leprechaun hunt through the school - to show them different things and tell them what we do there. Finally our silly leprechaun - that they named Ryan - left us a treat under my desk of lucky charms! We had lunch with our new little friends and really enjoyed their company. On Friday, they made puffy bearded leprechauns and we wrapped up St. Patrick's Day and Ireland. |
