Hello 4K families! In some of our small groups during centers this week we are learning about greater than and less than. We are using our alligator friends to help us out with this task. The alligator opens its mouth wide to eat the BIGGER number. The video below really helped the kids understand the concept and some of them are coming home with homework tonight and some tomorrow. Thank you for your participation, any questions please let me know! Thank you! :) God Bless! - Ms. Luce
Tuesday we were gone all day! We had a big day at the Wildlife Sanctuary in Green Bay and the Weidner Center on the UWGB campus. We first went to have a class at the Wildlife Sanctuary! We got to meet three animals - a box turtle, a fox snake and an adorable possum named Pickles. We learned about these animals and their stories and a little bit about each species. Then the kids got to explore the Sanctuary with their assigned chaperone group. Thank you so much to Mrs. Barbiaux, Mrs. Pearson, Mrs. Mertens and Mrs. Ducat for coming along to help us out, we really appreciated the help! :) After lunch we traveled to the Weidner Center to see the production of Cat in the Hat! It was great to see all of their reactions to the different things they did on stage and the actual theatre as a whole.
