| On Monday we went over the kiddos DOJO rewards. They are really working towards getting as many points as they can which is great! :) They want those high point items! We had some friends sitting in Ms. Luce's chairs for the day, some kiddos picked eating lunch with an older friend and others picked the treasure chest. They are all working so hard and we did our letter Kk projects! K is for Kite. They are doing a great job listening to directions and working hard on their tasks at hand. |
On Tuesday we talked about butterflies and their life cycle. We created their life cycle using different kinds of noodles. (egg, caterpillar, chrysalis and butterfly) They did a great job following directions! They turned out great! We also (if you haven't already heard:)) got a new class pet. His name is Finley and he is a beta fish. Our 4K friends are such good little "parents" to him. There is a new class job called Finley's helper and they are all very excited for their turn. Centers are going great and the kiddos are definitley learning and growing! :)
| On Wednesday we had centers - which they love and ask over and over when they are everyday. We also enjoyed some great weather outside! We had our last outside gym until spring! |
On Thursday we talked about spiders. The students got eight pipe cleaners as their legs and had to color their paper plates to make them nice colorful spiders. Then we bent the legs so that they would stand up. Thank you to Khloe for our awesome snack! So perfect for our week we were talking about bugs - pudding dirt cups with worms! :) Also we love getting to see 3K outside and we got to take their group picture for them!
| On Friday we ended our week on bugs by making bug hats! They loved being able to walk to their bus buddies with their hats on - so funny to watch these little eyes "running" down the hallway. Thank you Ash for giving Finley a sweet gift so that he won't get lonely and he has something nice to look at. :) Congrats to our DOJO CHAMPION of the week Sawyer! She was so funny when she found out, "I knew it! I knew it! I knew I was going to be the DOJO champion!" :) |
